Completel aims to double revenues to EUR 1 bln by 2016

French fibre carrier and business operator Completel aims for EUR 1 billion of revenues by 2016, compared to EUR 500 million in 2012, CEO Thierry Podolak told Journal des Telecoms. Launched 15 years ago, it reported EUR 181 million of EBITDA last year, for a 36 percent margin. Completel invested heavily in fibre, then in complementary DSL, Podolak said, adding that over 8,000 buildings were connected to its fibre, now available in 80 metro areas comprising 722 municipalities, and another 60,000 were linked by DSL. The company claims an 8 percent share of France's market for enterprise
