ComReg confirms launch of new Text Relay Service

Irish regulator ComReg has confirmed the launch of the new Text Relay Service in Ireland. The service translates text into voice and voice into texts for people with hearing disabilities. It is available 24 hours a day to customers of Eir, Sky, Tesco Mobile, 3 Ireland, Virgin Media and Vodafone. The new service is a supplement to the existing Minicom service and allows users to make and receive text relay calls through PC and mobile media devices.
