Comtech extends text-to-911 contracts

Comtech Telecommunications announced that its Commercial Solutions segment recently enabled Text-to-9-1-1 functionality in an additional 28 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) across 14 states in the US. Comtech now provides Text-to-9-1-1 to over 900 PSAPs across the US, with over 100 PSAPs in progress. The company said its platform is ready to upgrade, to go beyond text messages to also send multimedia content to emergency services.
