Conectio introduces offer for individual clients, companies

Conectio, the operator the network in the Polish Kuyavian-Pomeranian region, has introduced an internet service for individual clients and companies, reports Telko.in. Until now, clients of the regional network operator were mainly local government units, state administration offices, educational institutions (libraries, schools), cultural units, health services (hospitals, clinics) and rescue units (fire brigade, police, ambulance).

Conectio mainly operates a radio network and has over one hundred transmitters located throughout the province of Kuyavia-Pomerania, but also provides some fibre-optic lines.

For individual clients, Conectio has an offering based on its radio network and offers home internet for PLN 30 a month for speed up to 20 Mbps or for PLN 50 a month for service faster than 20 Mbps. Offers are without data limit and installation fee. With company clients, prices are agreed individually. Conectio also provides links to local internet providers.

Conectio has a service for schools, which it proposes to connect to the local government network using LTE for PLN 90 net per month. Schools get internet access at the maximum achievable parameters in a given location (even above 30 Mbps) as well as specialised software and devices ensuring network security and content filtering at no extra fee. Schools can also use the HotSpot Conectio service for PLN 60 net a month. It consists in providing open access to the internet, free for users, via a Wi-Fi wireless network using Conectio access devices.

The voivodeship operator also has other services in the portfolio, such as sharing online video and audio streaming from the City Council or City Council session, or the possibility of using an electronic bidding platform.

In the future, it also intends to build a regional cloud and provide data centre back-up services.
