Congo regulator launches new campaign to enforce SIM card registration rules

Congo's telecom regulator ARPCE has launched a new campaign in collaboration with the country's mobile operators to intensify security efforts towards the correct registration of all existing and new SIM cards. The campaign, which follows a similar initiative in 2011, has been prompted by recent fraudulent activities using SIM cards registered using fake information.
