Congo's mobile connections up 5.6% in 2017

Congo's mobile market reached 5.06 million connections at the end of 2017, representing a 5.6 percent rise year-on-year, based on the latest statistics from telecom regulator Arpce. Mobile penetration rose to 104 percent, from 101 percent a year earlier, while prepaid subscriptions remained dominant in the market, accounting for 99 percent of overall connections.
