Connected car services important to 75% of buyers - survey

Some 75 percent of consumers consider connected car services an important feature in their next car purchase, according to a new report from AT&T Drive Studio and Ericsson based on a July survey of people likely to buy a car in the next three years in the US, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and China. The term "connected car" as defined in the study, is a car equipped with a wireless internet connection enabling applications such as streaming music, internet radio, navigation with real-time updates, local searches and more from the dashboard.
