Connectivity Wireless trials CBRS OnGo LTE in New York City's Times Square

Wednesday 9 October 2019 | 14:11 CET | News
US provider of in-building cellular networks Connectivity Wireless has partnered with Athonet, Federated Wireless, CommScope, and Sky Connect Networks to deploy OnGo LTE connectivity based on newly available 3.5GHz Citizen Broadband Radio Services (CBRS) in Times Square. This trial is one of the first publicly-announced deployment of CBRS services since the FCC announced the greenlight for CBRS initial commercial deployments (ICD) on September 16, and demonstrates the power of Private LTE using "open" CBRS spectrum for applications including video cameras, public safety and digital signage.
