Construction kicks off on largest fibre network in Saxony-Anhalt

Construction on the largest interconnected fibre network in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt started on 28 August in the district of Borde, reported OnlineKosten.de. The network comprises eight communal broadband projects in the cities and municipalities of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen, Flechtingen, Elbe-Heide, Niedere Borde, Barleben, Westliche Borde, Wanzleben-Boede und Oschersleben (Bode) prepared for and planned by the district of Borde, the working group ARGE-Breitband of the eight localities, local firms and the internet provider DNS:NET.
