Tuesday 6 January 2015 | 17:32 CET | News
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) reported generally flat sales figures for 2014. The market was up about 1 percent to USD 1.024 trillion. Going forward, the CEA predicts 3.5 percent growth in sales for the US in 2015, due to the ongoing economic recovery. The organisation also noted that the TV set business, which has struggled in recent years, is beginning to recover and that 4K or UltraHD TV set sales are growing at a faster rate than expected.
