Consumer group sues operators for 4G false advertising

Cameroonian consumer protection group LCC has sued telecom operators MTN and Orange Cameroon for misleading advertising, Agence Ecofin reports. Similar litigation was filed separately by lawyer Onah Mbourou Dieudonne against telecom regulator ART for complicity. The LCC writes that Cameroonian consumers have paid significant sums to access the new 4G service before finding out that the widely advertised service does not exist.
