Corbyn publishes new digital rights manifesto

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn has proposed a published a new 'Digital Democracy Manifesto' to ensure that advances in digital technology are shared, used and enjoyed by everyone in the UK. The Universal Service Network pledge aims to deliver high-speed broadband and mobile connectivity for every home, business and organisation. He has also proposed an Open Knowledge Library, a free-to-use online hub of learning resources for the National Education Service. The Manifesto also includes a commitment to Community Media Freedom, with the BBC Charter updated to include a commitment to nurture
