Cosmote implements Smart Wine pilot application

Cosmote partnered the Kir-Yannis winery in Naousa to implement the Smart Wine pilot application. The app ensures the wine's quality at every step of way from the winery to the consumer thanks to the use of the Narrow -Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) technology. The application allows the monitoring of the conditions of the entire wine production, from the producer, the distributor to the final consumer. Special sensors record in real time the temperature, humidity and brightness at Kir-Yiannis winery, the conditions of the distributor's warehouse in Thessaloniki and a restaurant in the city
