Cosmote launches 2nd smart city pilot in Patras

Cosmote launched its second smart city pilot in cooperation with the Municipality of Patras at a selected city centre location. Its first smart city pilot was launched with Cisco in the Halkida municipality at the end of 2016. The two partners are testing smart parking and smart lightning services that work based on the Narrow-Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) technology. Huawei technologies, OTS's Smart Parking application, Kafkas's LED lighting systems and Flashnet's Smart Lighting sensors were used for the implementation of the project.
