Costa Rica fixed broadband lines up 10% to just under 1 mln

Total fixed broadband accesses climbed to 992,725 at the end of December 2020, up 9.7 percent from the year-earlier total of 904,734, according to a report from the country's telecommunications regulator Sutel. Cable account for nearly two thirds (633,000) of subscriptions, followed by xDSL (214,000) and fibre (138,000).
