Costa Rica's Superintendency of Telecommunications (Sutel) has announced a further extension to the deadline for submitting bids in the public tender for seven blocks of spectrum in the 1800MHz and 1900/2100MHz bands. Interested bidders were initially required to submit their proposals by 13 February but the process has been delayed several times, with the latest deadline of 20 April now pushed back to 11 May.
