Costa Rica to begin recovery of 5G frequencies granted to ICE

Costa Rica's Science, Technology and Telecommunications Ministry (Micitt) said it has begun a process to recover 5G frequencies previously granted to state-owned operator ICE after failing to receive a proposal on the return of spectrum from the group. In a statement, the ministry said the ultimate aim is to launch a tender for 5G frequencies, including those allocated to ICE.
