Costa Rica to launch CRC 100 mln cybersecurity centre

Costa Rica's ICT ministry (Miccitt) is set to invest CRC 100 million to build a new cybersecurity centre, reports business daily El Financiero. The aim is to improve the country's incident response capabilities in the face of cyberattacks, provide assistance to public agencies, design public policy to guarantee the security of the state's online infrastructure and set up rules and procedures to promote good practice in the public sector.
