Costa Rica's ICE launches La Union fibre rollout

Costa Rica state-owned operator ICE said it has began the rollout of fibre-optic infrastucture in the La Union district of Tres Rios, as part of its RANGE II New Generation Access Network project. The build will bring fibre-optic broadband to a total of 2,384 homes in Tres Rios, to be followed by the district of San Ramon, and the localities of Curridabat, Mora and Vazquez de Coronado, the latter starting in January.
