Costa Rica's ICE to bring fibre to 21 more localities

Costa Rica state-owned operator ICE said it has signed an agreement to extend its fibre-optic network to a further 13,000 homes in 21 localities across the country. The rollout is part of the second phase of the New Generation Access Network (RANGE) project begun in 2016 and will connect cantons such as Grecia, Liberia, Vazquez de Coronado, Pococi, Naranjo and Esparza to the company's fibre network for the first time.
