Court dismisses Fastweb broadband tender appeal

Friday 7 October 2016 | 09:10 CET | News
The Regional Administrative Court of Lazio, the main Italian administrative court of first instance, has dismissed a request from broadband operator Fastweb to suspend the tenders to build a national high-speed broadband network. The decision comes ahead of the main appeal hearing scheduled for 14 December. Fastweb had appealed against a clause prohibiting pre-qualified operators from making subsequent changes and setting up consortiums with other companies.
