Tuesday 6 December 2016 | 11:11 CET | News
French infrastructure operator Covage has arranged a non-recourse senior debt of EUR 15 million to finance the 'Grand Lyon THD' project, which will see the deployment of a public-initiative fibre network (known as RIP, Reseaux d'Initiative Publique) in selected areas of the Lyon metropolitan area. The funds, lent by Caisse d'Epargne Rhone Alpes and Banque Palatine, will be used to bring fibre connectivity to 93 business parks, 400 business premises and over 1,600 buildings with public or partially public functions.
