Covage takes over Hauts de Seine fibre network

French infrastructure operator Covage has announced that it will take over the 'THD Seine' fibre network, in the Hauts de Seine department, after signing a contract with the local authorities and committing to resume the deployment of FTTH services in the areas covered by the project. The previous contract had originally been awarded to Sequalum (a joint venture run by the Numericable/SFR group), but was terminated in 2014 after the company failed to meet its coverage targets.
