French network operator Covage has won a contract from the Rungis International Market, located outside Paris, to deploy a fibre network delivering high speed broadband to the 1,200 businesses located at the wholesale food market. Covage will be in charge installing the infrastructure, operating the network and marketing it to businesses on-site. End-users are expected to be able to connect to the fibre network by January 2016 after subscribing to a telecom service provider of their choice.
