CRASA, Ericsson ink deal on broadband plans

The Communications Regulators Association of Southern Africa (CRASA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ericsson, in bid to develop national broadband plans (NBPs). Crasa's executive secretary Antony Chigaazira s said CRASA will collaborate with Ericsson to organise and facilitate workshops geared towards the development of national broadband planning, The Namibian reported. He said the workshop sessions will focus on specific concerns related to information technology in the 15 member countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), who are amending their broadband
