Credit Agricole chooses Gemalto for NFC payments in Nice

French bank Credit Agricole has chosen digital security group Gemalto to support its deployment of NFC mobile payment solutions in Nice as part of the "Nice NFC City" initiative. Credit Agricole's regional branches have been offering their customers the NFC payment method since January, allowing them to perform store transactions via their NFC-enabled mobile phones. Gemalto, with over 35 NFC projects deployed worldwide, supplies Trusted Service Managmeent services for the secure deployment and management of mobile contactless payment, regardless of the miobile network.
