Crnogorski Telekom reaches 37,000 homes with FTTH

Montenegrin operator Crnogorski Telekom has invested EUR 7.4 million so far in bringing fibre services direct to customer homes (FTTH), according to the director of technology and IT, Vladan Pekovic. Since 2009, ten municipalities and 37,000 homes have been connected to the optical infrastructure that enables internet access at speeds of up to 100 Mbps. In the capital Podgorica, over 23,000 homes are connected, or 50 percent of all homes. The number of connections in other Montenegrin cities is as follows: Kotor (1,800), Budva (3,400), Herceg Novi (2,000), Bar (2,400), Tivat (500), Berane
