Crosslake Fibre subsea cable system between UK and France goes live

Crosslake Fibre said that its new submarine cable built across the English Channel is now ready for service. Named CrossChannel, the project was first announced in July 2020, when it was described as the first cable system to be installed between the United Kingdom and France in over 20 years.
