CRTC warns Quebecor's TVA Sports about withdrawing signal from Bell customers

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) said it asked Quebecor's TVA Sports to explain why it blocked its signal for Bell Canada subscribers. After the meeting the CRTC imposed a mandatory order making TVA Group comply with its regulations and said it would suspend the channel's license should a similar event occur, for as long as no signal is given. The order will be registered with the Federal Court and become an order of the Court. Failure to comply could result in fines or other corrective measures. Bell welcomed CRTC's ruling.
