CSA receives 34 proposals for new DTT channels

French media regulator CSA has received proposals for 34 new DTT channels, six of which will be selected in March. None of the candidates proposed a pay channel. Lagardere proposed a woman's channel using its Elle brand. In the past Lagardere has returned the frequency allocation for its Canal J channel and resold another, Virgin 17. TF1 proposed three channels, women's channel Stylia, fiction channel HD1 and teleshopping channel Tendance 24. M6 proposed M6 Famille, a magazine programme channel and a teleshopping channel. Le Figaro proposed weather channel La Chaine Meteo. NextRadioTV
