CSG brings Mediation platform to the cloud with AWS

Wednesday 15 May 2019 | 08:59 CET | News

CSG’s Mediation platform is now available as a cloud-based service. The system, which the company said collects and manages usage data from any source, is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and uses both the cloud and native AWS tools to meet demands in real-time. The platform consolidates all mediation functions, such as offline, online, network, across any domain –mobile, fixed, broadband- and for all deployment approaches, including on premise, cloud, licenses software and full managed service. It can scale up or down, with costs calculated according to demand.

The system, developed to help service providers support the demands of IoT, 5G and new digital services as they move their revenue management functions to the cloud to support the demands of IoT, 5G, and new digital services, can process over 1.7 million transactions per second on a single compute node. It can also manage back-office operations.
