CTIA names Iconectiv to manage short-code registry

CTIA-The Wireless Association announced Iconectiv as is its new strategic partner for its Common Short Code (CSC) Registry Services. Iconectiv will provide these services starting 01 January 2016. The industry group CTIA administers the CSCs and registry website (www.usshortcodes.com) in the US to enable the procurement of codes. The CTIA conducted a competitive tender for identifying a new vendor to manage CSC Registry Services. Iconectiv is a unit of Telcordia, part of Ericsson.
