CTU starts review of 880-915/ 925-960 MHz band

Czech regulator CTU has started a review on whether there are still reasons to limit the number of rights to use radio frequencies in the band 880–915 / 925–960 MHz with an outlook until 2029. The above frequency band, like the band 1710–1785 MHz / 1805–1880 MHz, is allocated for operation of communications system providing electronic communications services, using technologies in the standard GSM or technologies whose operation is compatible with the operation of GSM systems and are used that way.
