Cuba passes 2 million mobile phone users milestone

Cuba has passed the milestone of two million mobile phone users. Cuba currently has one mobile phone per every five inhabitants, Juventud Rebelde reports, citing Hilda Arias, head of mobile phone services at Cuban state-owned operator Etecsa. This is almost double the number of fixed phone lines, which currently total 1.27 million across Cuba, Arias added.
