CWA reaches 4-year agreement with AT&T Southwest

Friday 3 March 2017 | 08:41 CET | News
The Communications Workers of America has reached a tentative agreement with AT&T Southwest. The four-year settlement provides for pay raises, paid parental leave, affordable healthcare and enhanced benefits for the 20,000 AT&T workers in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, the union announced. A key provision of the proposal commits AT&T to bring 3,000 jobs, the majority of which are sourced offshore, into union-covered areas. Implementation still requires approval in a vote by unions members.
