CWA takes AT&T to court for planned layoffs in Southwest states

The Communications Workers of America (CWA) union is taking AT&T to court, saying its plans to lay off CWA-represented workers in the Southwest violates the collective bargaining agreement reached for 20,000 workers. The suit was filed by CWA District 6, which represents workers in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas.
