Cyber criminals may have worked from Germany

The German Federal Crime Office (BKA) is investigating cyber criminals who have infected up to 11,000 computer systems in more than 90 countries by use of malware, onlinekosten.de reports. Half of the systems attacked were in Germany and the police have leads that the offenders are in the country. Experts managed to identify and destroy the botnet.
