Cybercom closes Turku office and sheds 30 workers

IT consultancy Cybercom said it is closing its Turku office following a sharp slowdown in Finland since the start of 2015, with 30 employees being affected. Eight of them had been laid off temporarily last autumn. The closure will cost SEK 8.5 million, which will be charged against the second quarter, the results for which will be published on 14 July. After implementation, an annual cost saving of SEK 13 million will be achieved, with a positive effect from the second half of 2015.
