Polish operator Cyfrowy Polsat is to soon launch mobile internet services using MIMO technology. The operator will from 22 October offer up to 28.8 Mbps download capacity and 5.76 Mbps data transmission capacity, following the launch of the Huawei E182E MIMO modem, Rzeczpospolita reported. Cyfrowy Polsat will use the network of Polish operator Aero 2 for the service. Aero 2 is gradually adapting its network to MIMO technology, with around 200 base stations, or half of the operator's network, currently supporting the technology.
