Czech regulator initiates talks on redistribution of 900 MHz, 1,800 MHz bands

Czech regulator CTU has issued a call for discussions on the re-farming of frequencies in the 900 MHz and 1,800 MHz bands. The regulator has received applications for frequenciese from mobile operators Vodafone Czech Republic, T-Mobile Czech Republic and O2 Czech Republic. Market parties can submit comments on the redistribution of these frequencies until 12 August.

Vodafone Czech Republic applied for the refarming of its 881.9–885.5/926.9–930.5 MHz (2×3.6 MHz), 889.9–894.3/934.9–939.3 MHz (2×4.4 MHz), 912.9–914.9/957.9–959.9 MHz (2×2.0 MHz) bands to new 880.1–890.1/925.1–935.1 MHz (2×10.0 MHz) bands. 

T-Mobile Czech Republic applied for the refarming of its  886.9–889.9/931.9–934.9 MHz (2×3.0 MHz), 894.3–897.1/939.3–942.1 MHz (2×2.8 MHz), 899.9–902.1/944.9–947.1 MHz (2×2.2 MHz), 904.1–906.1/949.1–951.1 MHz (2×2.0 MHz), 909.3–911.7/954.3–956.7 MHz (2×2.4 MHz) bands to new 890.1–902.5/935.1–947.5 MHz (2×12.4 MHz) bands. 

O2 Czech Republic applied for the refarming of its 880.1–881.9/925.1–926.9 MHz (2×1.8 MHz), 885.5–886.9/930.5–931.9 MHz (2×1.4 MHz), 897.1–899.9/942.1–944.9 MHz (2×2.8 MHz), 902.1–904.1/947.1–949.1 MHz (2×2.0 MHz), 906.1–909.3/951.1–954.3 MHz (2×3.2 MHz), 911.7–912.9/956.7–957.9 MHz (2×1.2 MHz) bands to new 902.5–914.9/947.5–959.9 MHz (2×12.4 MHz) bands.
