Dailymotion loses appeal over hosted TF1 content

French video sharing portal Dailymotion has been ordered to pay EUR 1.3 million in damages to TV broadcaster TF1 by the Paris Appeal Court in a case brought in July 2007, Next Impact reports. TF1 had objected to the presence of several of its videos on Dailymotion, including episodes of Heroes, news programmes, and a performance by comedian Gad Elmaleh.
