Daimler, Bosch receive approval for driverless parking system in Stuttgart

German carmaker Daimler and Bosch have received approval from the authorities in Baden-Wurttemberg for the use of the first automated parking system in the Mercedes-Benz Museum parking garage in Stuttgart. The automated valet parking is a driverless (SAE Level 4) parking function that can be accessed via a smartphone app and requires no safety driver.
