Danes to let foreigners use public web services with own eID

The Danish Digitisation Authority has announced that the first step has been taken to allow people and businesses from outside Denmark to log in to Danish administrative self-service websites using their own electronic identification (eiD). This follows the introduction of the European Commission's regulation on eIdentification and Trust services (eIDAS).
