Danish 2017 telecoms investment rises 10.3%, revenue falls 0.8%

The Danish Energy Authority said that Denmark's telecommunications sector invested 10.3 percent from DKK 6.6 billion in 2016 to DKK 7.3 billion in 2017, the largest annual rise since 2007. Revenue fell 0.8 percent from 2016, though, to DKK 37.7 billion. Investment accounted for 19.3 percent of revenue, up by 1.9 percentage points from 2016.
