Danish gigabit broadband access rises to 60% in 2017

The Danish Energy Authority said 89 percent of homes and businesses in Denmark had access to internet at a minimum of 100 Mbps for downloads and 30 Mbps for uploads in 2017, up by 1 percentage point compared with 2016. It said 60 percent have the option to get broadband at a minimum download speed of 1 Gbps, up by 12 percentage points year on year. Five percent have access to fixed wireless broadband.
