Danish govt aims to cut costs by reducing red tape through IT

The Danish Digitisation Authority said the government aims to make every new law compatible with digitisation as far as possible from 01 July 2018. Examples include enabling automatic rather than manual applications for holiday pay. The aim is to cut administrative costs by DKK 1 billion in 2020 and DKK 3 billion in 2025 through the reduction in red tape.
