Danish govt gets applications for DKK 150 mln in broadband subsidies

The Danish Energy Authority said it received broadband subsidy applications for 72 projects in 21 municipal boroughs worth DKK 150 million, which is almost four times as much funding as is available in the 2017 round (DKK 40 million). Applications came from 5,700 addresses from all five regions of Denmark. Applicants will hear back at the beginning of November.
