Danish govt invites applications for EU subsidies for eID gateway connections

Friday 9 February 2018 | 13:19 CET | News

The Danish Digitisation Authority said it is still possible for Danish authorities to apply for to the EU’s Innovation and Networks Executive Agency for a subsidy to connect their public service portals to the eID gateway. The authorities must have self-service portals that are relevant to EU or EEA citizens, or have these in place before the end of September 2018. They can have the cost of the connection subsidised to the tune of 75 percent.

Applications for inclusion in the INEA agreement should be sent to the Danish Digitisation Authority by 28 February 2018. The number of projects for inclusion in the INEA agreement is limited so the first come, first served principle applies. Payment will be made once the EU Commission has rubber-stamped the bill after the project’s conclusion at the end of September.
