Danish govt invites bids for DKK 40 mln broadband subsidies

The Danish Energy Authority said applications are now open for DKK 40 million in subsidies for broadband for the worst-served addresses in the country. Applications should be in by 14 September. Subsidies are for homes, businesses and summer cabins that currently have internet service at a maximum of 10 Mbps for downloads or 2 Mbps for uploads. Bidders should get together with other interested parties in their area in order to draw up their application.
