Danish govt issues guide to placing mobile telecoms antennae

The Danish Business Authority has issued an eight-page guide on placements of mobile telecommunications antennae. It said antennae can be placed on tall buildings or on an antenna mast. Antennae and masts cannot simply be placed wherever one wants, but at the same time, there is an obligation to allow transmitters space on existing masts. This is set out in the Mast Law, which is aimed at operations and local authorities. The new guideline on placing antenna has been drawn up with contributions from local councils, regional administrations and the telecoms sector.
